The summer suburban residence of Stanisław Leszczyński in the Duchy of Two Bridges (Zweibrücken). He proceeded to build it according to his own idea and the plans of the Swedish architect Jonas Erikson Sundahl between 1715 and 1716. Its Turkish name meaning landed estate was undoubtedly inspired by his earlier two-year stay in Turkey. The oriental elements of many of the small buildings that make up its unique form also came from there. Together with earth terraces, pools, cascades, stiles, trellises and parterres perfectly integrated into the small, charming basin. As Leszczyński's first extraordinary garden-architectural creation, it illustrated his ability to assimilate and combine elements from different cultures and traditions, here including Swedish and Polish. Together with his later works in Lorraine, it became a model for numerous realisations at European courts in the 18th century.

Shiflik's former appearance is evidenced by the terraces, towers and cascades that have survived to this day, which, when juxtaposed with old engravings, give an idea of its original appearance. Today, part of its former site is occupied by a hotel with a restaurant. A large stylised fresco inside recalls Leszczyński's time, as does a modern monument dedicated to him nearby.
